Transportation
Coming from the North, take the A1 to Paris, getting off at the A104-N104 ("Francilliène") to the A4, where Mickey signs clearly show your way. For Davy Crockett Ranch get off at number 13, for the park and other hotels number 14. Free parking for hotel guests, behind their hotel (not for Disneyland Hotel, but just park at Hotel New York, no one will notice).
By bus/train
You usually arrive in Paris. Take the subway to a fast subway station (RER-A) of which Chatelet-Les Halles is the most central, and take the RER-A4 to Marne-la- Vallée/Chessy. If you take the TGV train this does not apply, for the TGV stops at the park!
By plane
You arrive in Paris at Roissy/Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly, and can take the
VEA-pendelbus for 80 FF. It is a direct connection to the park. If you decide to go to the
park by metro, this is 90 FF from Orly (take the Orlyval to Antony, tranfer to
Chatelet-Les Halles, take the RER-A4 kan to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy.
Your stay
Duration
One day just isn't enough, but if it is all you can spare, work your way through Discoveryland, Fantasyland and Frontierland. Two days is enough to ride all the attractions, not to see everything though. Remember that off-season the park opens at 10:00 and closed at 18:00.
On-site
Advantages of staying on-site: you experience more Disney feeling, you get into the park an hour early, free parking, express checkout, having a place to rest nearby, free breakfast.
Time of your stay
Weekdays are less crowded, monday is most crowded of the weekdays, the best attractions
are crowded after half an hour so ride them right away or during a parade that you've
already seen. Never eat at times that everybody eats (or that you usually eat yourself!).
Combine your eating with a show to save time. Make dinner show reservations from your
hotel room. Take the train ride around the park or a boat ride when you need a little rest
for your feet. Huge crowds at Easter and Christmas.
